“Musical Instruments” is a very exciting ‘Online Infobook’ which contains an immense amount of information about a vast selection of musical instruments. The site provides a wealth of knowledge that explores instrument history, science and technique as well as information on famous pieces of music, key composers and recommendations on where to buy the best CDs, sheet music, instruments.
This site is a great resource providing many different purposes. It is equally as useful for college or schoolwork purposes (perhaps for Music research at GCSE, or A level), as it is for any reader who simply enjoys learning about music and wants to know more about their favourite instruments.
The navigation menu on the left divides instruments into subcategories such as ‘brass’, ‘strings’, ‘woodwind’ etc. making finding relevant information easier and quicker!
There is also a ‘How To Use’ section which explains the organization of various aspects of the site in more detail. It has been designed in order to allow the reader to achieve maximum enjoyment from the site.
